Job summary

JLL seeks a Utility Engineer in San Jose to join our facilities team. You will perform hands-on maintenance of building systems, from HVAC filter changes to minor plumbing, in a collaborative environment.

You will work with Stationary Engineers, Apprentice Engineers, and Chief Engineers, managing work orders in CMMS to ensure safe, efficient properties for occupants. On-site schedule is M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders.
• Basic hand and power tool knowledge.
• Proficient in work order documentation and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and replace filters.
• Replace lightbulbs and maintain lighting throughout the facility.
• Carry out minor plumbing repairs and fix leaks.
• Conduct regular building inspections and safety checks.
• Manage work orders in CMMS and close completed tasks.
• Maintain mechanical spaces and assist engineers.
