Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking a Utility Engineer to keep building systems running smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, lighting, plumbing and safety systems, using a CMMS to manage work orders and document actions.

The role collaborates with engineers and technicians to ensure safe, efficient operations in a dynamic facilities environment. The position requires 4+ years of facilities maintenance experience, EPA 608 certification, and a valid California

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in facilities maintenance or related field.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• Valid CA driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Basic knowledge of tools and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems including air filter and belt replacements, and cleaning of perimeter induction units.
• Replace lightbulbs, lamps, and ballasts and clean light fixtures to maintain illumination levels.
• Complete minor plumbing repairs and inspect fire extinguishers and entry doors.
• Conduct regular building inspections and maintain mechanical spaces for safe operations.
