Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks an experienced facilities engineer to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and production systems in Denver. You will ensure energy-efficient, safe operation and minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and record-keeping.

The role requires 4+ years of technical building engineering experience, HVAC certification, and the ability to work with vendors and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of technical experience in building engineering with strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair/maintenance.
• HVAC universal CFC recovery certification and licenses as required.
• Associates degree in HVAC trade school or equivalent job experience preferred.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; able to read basic wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical and electrical systems and respond to issues.
• Perform electrical tasks including lighting replacements and LED drivers.
• Perform plumbing tasks including sinks, toilets and unclogging pipes.
• Carry out basic carpentry and repairs and study equipment/methods required for proper operation.
• Follow safety guidelines, participate in on-call duties and coordinate with vendors.
