Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Building Engineer to maintain mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and HVAC systems at a large commercial facility in Redmond, WA.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and adherence to safety and energy standards. You will work on-site, manage classifications and documentation for hazardous goods per regulations, and mentor colleagues while aligning with CBRE's RISE values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience, 4–5 years of related work.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred and local/state licenses may be required.
• Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and HVAC.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and energy efficiency standards.
• Support preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections on site.
• Review building operations to meet design and environmental conditions prescribed by client.
• Mentor others and contribute to CBRE RISE values in daily work.
