GlobalFoundries in Essex Junction, Vermont is seeking a Buildings Engineer to support operation and reliability of building facilities systems for semiconductor manufacturing. You will collaborate with technicians, contractors and cross‑functional teams to maintain mechanical systems, support projects, and ensure safe, reliable facility operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA and English language fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited program.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• English language fluency (written and verbal).

Responsabilités

• Operate, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and support replacement of facilities mechanical components and systems (HVAC, exhaust, cooling water).
• Support preventive maintenance to promote equipment reliability and manufacturing continuity.
• Develop and implement capital improvement projects involving construction and maintenance of building equipment.
