Job summary

GlobalFoundries Inc. in Vermont is seeking an entry-level Facilities Engineer (2027 new college graduate) to support operation, maintenance, reliability and improvement of critical facility systems that enable semiconductor manufacturing.

You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams to develop technical expertise in industrial utility systems and manufacturing operations within a world-class facility environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
0–2 years engineering experience or internship/co-op.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Support safe operation and reliability of facility utilities and infrastructure.
Troubleshoot equipment and system performance using engineering data.
Monitor performance, parameters, capacity, and reliability; analyze trends for improvements.
Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
Support continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, reliability, and cost reduction.
