Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Essex Junction, Vermont is seeking a New College Graduate Equipment Engineer to join our post-fab manufacturing team. You will support semiconductor manufacturing equipment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, performance, safety, and efficiency.

This onsite role provides hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing technologies while developing technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a high-volume production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• English language fluency (written and verbal).
• Internship or co-op experience preferred.
• Strong interest in AI tools and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of semiconductor equipment.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve reliability, quality, productivity and cost.
• Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production objectives.
• Develop and maintain equipment documentation and maintenance strategies.
• Ensure safety and environmental, health, and security requirements are followed.
