Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Three years of related building maintenance experience.
• Valid NYC Q-01 Refrigerating System Operating Engineer certificate and S-12/S-13 certificates.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
• Ability to monitor and operate BMS systems and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records for compliance, timekeeping, and reporting.
• Perform preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting.
• Operate building systems and BMS; monitor energy use.
• Coordinate with contractors and supervise as directed.
• Conduct regular building inspections and maintain service levels.
• Complete work orders and update databases.
