Job summary

CBRE HV is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems in a dynamic facility environment in Phoenix. You will support preventive maintenance, energy management, and safety programs while ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent with 4–5 years of related experience; Universal CFC certification is preferred. Heavy lifting and physical work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate energy management program to improve efficiency.
• Support preventive maintenance and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for storage and handling of hazardous materials.
• Review building system inspections (HVAC, fire alarms, plumbing) for design conformity.
