Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Full-Time, on-site) to keep the facility safe, attractive, and within budget. The role works with the Administrator and Operations Director to plan and address routine maintenance and safety needs.

You will perform daily upkeep, report regularly, and support fire and life safety drills. A 24-hour response mindset, attention to detail, and compassion for residents are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years relevant maintenance/handyman experience.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.
• Compassion for elderly and desire to work with seniors.
• Basic reporting and organizational skills.
• Capable of maintaining full-time attendance.
• Must meet health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Administrator and Director of Operations to evaluate and address maintenance needs.
• Provide maintenance information through weekly/monthly reports.
• Care for routine maintenance of the facility and residents as if they were your own home.
• Assist Administrator with fire and life safety training and drills.
• Be familiar with life safety and all operational systems in the facility.
• Respond to resident/Administrator/staff requests for maintenance through maintenance reports and log system.
• Ensure 24-hour repair/response time for all daily maintenance requests.
• Maintain grounds, building exterior and interior, signage year-round.
• Beds and lawns will be weeded and trimmed; seasonal foliage maintenance.
