Evergreen Senior Living is seeking a reliable Building Maintenance technician to perform routine upkeep, repairs, and safety checks across our Michigan facilities. You will help ensure a welcoming environment for residents and staff, with opportunities to coordinate with vendors and support event setup.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 1+ year in maintenance. The role requires安全-minded, independent workers with good communication, capable of handling tools and lifting 50+ lbs.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of maintenance or facilities experience; healthcare/senior living is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of building systems and groundskeeping practices.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC checks.
• Inspect building systems for safety and function.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly.
• Set up and break down furniture for facility events or resident needs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance per schedules.
• Maintain inspections, repairs, and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs or installations.
• Assist with emergencies during power outages or severe weather.
• Support housekeeping/grounds teams as needed.
• Provide occasional transportation for residents to medical appointments.
