Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in building construction, engineering, architecture, and/or facilities management is required.
• Seven (7) years’ experience in managing and planning physical plant facilities; supervision of contracted professionals is expected.
• Note: combinations of education and experience may substitute for the required education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, remodel and renovation activities ensuring compliance with codes and safety policies.
• Prepare bid specifications and evaluate bids and proposals.
• Develop and manage the annual Facilities Department budget.
• Supervise and develop departmental staff and ensure a safe work environment.
