Job summary

Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Hard Maintenance technician to perform repairs across the resort and related facilities under supervision. You'll handle carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 18, and 2 years of skilled-labor experience in carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Two years of skilled labor experience (carpentry, plumbing, or electrical).

Responsibilities

Performs basic carpentry, cement finishing, electrical repair, plumbing, plastering, painting, glazing, roofing and sheet rock work.
Inspects buildings and equipment for damage and repairs mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
Uses hand and power tools and assists in erecting new or remodeling of existing buildings.
Reads blueprints and performs repairs to building exterior, interior, and systems.
Maintains inventory of equipment, parts, tools, and supplies.
Enters all work activity into computerized asset management program.
Participates in Facilities Safety program and completes safety training.
Operates and repairs vehicles and heavy equipment owned by the Pueblo of Sandia.
Works in a composite crew with other trades as needed.
Balances, climbs, bends, and performs physical tasks as described.
