Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Director to lead a small to mid-size portfolio in North Carolina. You will serve as the primary client contact, overseeing facilities operations, staffing, and capital projects while aligning with CBRE RISE values.

The role is hybrid, based in Greensboro or RTP, NC, and requires strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor management skills to drive financial and operational performance across the property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 8–12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, and performance measurement is preferred.
• Ability to lead sensitive, complex information exchanges and set performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; conduct evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage daily team activities; establish schedules and cross-train staff.
• Review client plans to determine staffing levels and meet expectations.
• Manage capital project and operating budget reports for a single property.
• Create action plans to improve financial positions and negotiate contracts.
