Job summary

Halifax Regional Centre for Education is seeking a Custodian to contribute to the Operations Services Department by keeping school buildings clean, sanitary and well-maintained. The role emphasizes safe, efficient cleaning in line with policies, reports to the Caretaker and Building Management Supervisor, and supports inclusive education goals.

Applicants should be able to lift 50lbs, have a high school diploma or GED, possess basic computer skills and be available for day, evening, or night

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50lbs to perform cleaning duties.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Able to work day, evening and night shifts.
• Previous janitorial experience is an asset.
