Job summary

Volt is seeking a Process Steward in Ohio to join a manufacturing environment. The role involves operating equipment, handling chemicals, and maintaining production records while adhering to GMP, QMS, and EHS requirements.

The position is full-time with benefits and requires attention to detail, teamwork, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. You will support multiple teams to ensure successful batch completion in a production setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, or industrial experience preferred.
• GMP experience and chemical handling knowledge are assets.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

As a Process Steward, you will:

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment cleaning, material handling, and production area housekeeping.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Support quality, maintenance, and production teams to ensure successful batch completion.
• Follow SOPs, the Quality Management System (QMS), and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.

Full-time contract opportunity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, or industrial experience preferred.
• GMP experience and chemical handling knowledge are considered assets.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/production setting with exposure to chemicals and industrial equipment.
• Requires the use of PPE and physical activities such as standing, lifting, and equipment cleaning.

Pay rate

$19.00 - $20.11per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
