Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support daily operations across Health Sciences spaces. You will coordinate projects, manage requests, and work with contractors to ensure safe, compliant environments.

The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate updates effectively. The position is fully onsite Monday through Friday, with opportunities to support events and after-hours activities.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day facilities operations across Health Sciences spaces and buildings.
• Coordinate facilities projects from start to finish, and manage requests via email, phone, and ticketing systems.
• Maintain supply inventories and work with on-site contractors and vendors to coordinate schedules.
• Conduct regular rounds to inspect safety and security hazards and support safety compliance and emergency preparedness efforts.
• Provide onsite support for meetings and events, including after hours or weekends.
• Document recurring issues and resolutions, and provide updates to faculty and management.
