Job summary

CBRE in Redmond, WA is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support a premier technology client. You will help manage a large-scale laboratory and research portfolio across roughly 32 buildings and over 4 million square feet, coordinating with Facilities Managers, Engineering, Maintenance, and vendors on site.

You’ll monitor work orders, generate reports, and address client inquiries while following established procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of facilities experience.
  • Experience with purchase orders and invoice processing preferred.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work independently; proactive in seeking clarification.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor work orders to ensure timely completion and closure.
  • Generate, track, and analyze work order reports.
  • Coordinate with landlords, tenants, and providers to follow procedures.
  • Address client inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Review work orders, proposals, and vendor paperwork.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs to identify and address issues.
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, coworkers, and supervisors.

About The Role

Join CBRE as a Facilities Coordinator supporting one of our premier clients in the technology sector. In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for a large-scale laboratory and research portfolio consisting of approximately 32 buildings and more than 4 million square feet of space. Working closely with Facilities Managers, Engineering and Maintenance teams, client stakeholders, vendors, and service providers, you will help coordinate day-to-day operations and contribute to a safe, efficient, and high-performing workplace environment while working onsite with the client in Redmond, WA.

What You’ll Do
  • Regularly monitor work orders to ensure their timely completion and closure.
  • Generate, track and analyze work order reports to identify trends and monitor performance.
  • Work with landlords, tenants, and service providers to make sure they implement and recognize all procedures, policies, and reporting formats.
  • Acknowledge and address all client inquiries related to the site, responding promptly to client inquiries and concerns.
  • Review work orders, proposals, department files, and other paperwork submitted by vendors.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs to identify and address site issues.
  • Follow instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions.
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience in facilities.
  • Some exposure to finance-related tasks required. Experience with purchase order creation and invoice process preferred.
  • Must be self-sufficient and can work independently. Candidate should also be resourceful and proactive in seeking clarification when needed.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace applications required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience using a CMMS and familiarity with utilizing AI powered tools to support productivity and report are a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Demonstrated customer service abilities are required.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

Washington Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Coordinator position is $27.00 hourly and the maximum salary for the Facilities Coordinator position is $30.00 hourly. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
