Compass Group USA is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee client-site operations, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget and quality standards. The role may cover an entire site or part of a site and could involve project components.

The position emphasizes self-performance of services, staff supervision, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and client requirements, while delivering a consistent hospitality experience across the site.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree is preferred; certification in management a plus.
• Cleanroom Class 1, 10, 100 or 1000 (ISO Class 6) janitorial experience is a must.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff perform duties safely and protect the environment.
• Manage, train, supervise and motivate staff for development.
• Adhere to policies and regulatory/client requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality and facility operations to keep premises clean, compliant, and well staffed.
• Order supplies in line with fiscal expectations.
• Address complaints or difficult situations promptly and professionally.
• Direct completion of tasks within time and budget constraints.
• Enforce standards and resolve discrepancies to meet contract requirements.
• Maintain high professional standards and efficiency at all times.
• Optimize planning, budgeting, operations, and resources for maximum capability.
• Approve timesheets, overtime, vacations and conduct annual appraisals.

Job Summary

The Facilities Site Manager is responsible for oversight of company operations on a client site. They may be responsible for a whole site or a part of the site and may also be responsible for part of a project. Manages the day-to-day basics and ensures that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to the right quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all staff perform duties in a safe manner and take steps to protect the environment.
• To manage, train, supervise and motivate staff, ensuring their development.
• To ensure all policies/procedures are adhered to and meet regulatory or client compliance requirements.
• Work with Quality and factory/facility operations to monitor the appearance of the premises, ensure it is kept clean and compliant, tidy, well organized, fully stocked and fully staffed.
• Order approved supplies needed for housekeeping and/or other services provided, in line with fiscal expectations.
• Remedy complaints or difficult situations in an efficient and professional manner.
• Direct completion of assigned tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
• Enforces work standards and reviews/resolves work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• To be able to work efficiently with professionalism at all times and maintain high standards.
• Optimizes planning, budgeting, operations, and resources to ensure maximum capability is attained.
• Approve timesheets, Overtime, Vacations and perform annual employee performance appraisals.
• Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
• Ensure that customer requirement and production standards for assigned area of responsibility are met.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree is preferred; certification in management a plus.
• CIMS or other janitorial certification is preferred.
• Cleanroom Class 1, 10, 100 or 1000 (ISO Class 6) janitorial experience is a must.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.
