Compass Group USA, through its ESFM division, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to deliver an exceptional workplace experience by blending hospitality with operational excellence. This role partners with the Business Services Manager to coordinate daily operations, oversee soft services, and manage moves and changes while seeking improvements in employee and guest experiences.

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for delivering an exceptional workplace experience by combining hospitality, operational excellence, and customer-focused service. This role serves as a trusted partner to clients, employees, visitors, and service providers, ensuring every interaction reflects ESFM's commitment to hospitality and service excellence.Working closely with the Business Services Manager, this position coordinates daily workplace operations, oversees soft service vendors, manages workplace moves and changes, and proactively identifies opportunities to enhance the employee and guest experience. Success in this role is measured by the ability to anticipate needs, build strong relationships, maintain exceptional workplace standards, and consistently exceed customer expectations.
Hospitality & Customer Experience
Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace services, delivering an exceptional hospitality experience for clients, employees, guests, and vendors.
Build strong, trusted relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and personalized service.
Anticipate customer needs and resolve workplace concerns quickly and professionally.
Create a welcoming, organized, and service-focused workplace environment that reflects ESFM's hospitality culture.
Respond to service requests with urgency while ensuring consistent follow-through and communication.
Workplace & Facilities Operations
Assist with the oversight and performance management of self-performed and subcontracted services including:
Cleaning and janitorial services, light maintenance, pest control, waste management, landscaping, mailroom operations
Conduct routine inspections to ensure facilities remain clean, safe, organized, and presentation-ready.
Ensure vendor performance aligns with established service level expectations.
Support implementation of operational best practices that improve efficiency while enhancing customer experience.
Required Qualifications
Prior Facilities Management experience within the Business & Industry sector or hospitality leadership experience in positions such as:
Housekeeping Manager
Front Office Manager
Workplace Experience leadership
Experience managing Soft Services, including janitorial operations.
Experience with P&L management.
Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities including staffing, recruiting, employee development, coaching, and team relations.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, customer-first mindset.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Building Operations & Partner Management
Provide day-to-day oversight and coordination of the site's mechanical services team, ensuring building systems are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and operational performance.
Partner with mechanical service providers to coordinate preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, equipment inspections, and scheduled shutdown activities while minimizing disruption to workplace operations.
