Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division seeks a Facilities Site Manager to oversee client-site operations, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence. This role may cover an entire site or part of it, coordinating tasks and workforce to meet quality standards.

The candidate will lead staff, enforce policies, and collaborate with Quality and facilities teams, optimizing planning and resources to maximize site performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree preferred; management certification a plus.
• CIMS or janitorial certification preferred.
• Cleanroom Class 1/10/100/1000 experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all staff perform duties safely and protect the environment.
• Manage, train, supervise and motivate staff; support development.
• Ensure adherence to policies/procedures and regulatory/client requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality and facility operations to maintain clean, compliant premises.
• Order approved supplies for housekeeping and services within budget.
• Address complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Direct completion of tasks within time frames and budget constraints.
• Enforce work standards and resolve discrepancies to meet contract requirements.
• Maintain professionalism and high standards at all times.
• Optimize planning, budgeting, operations and resources for maximum capability.
• Approve timesheets, overtime, vacations and perform annual appraisals.
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
• Ensure customer requirements and production standards are met.

Job Summary

The Facilities Site Manager is responsible for oversight of company operations on a client site. They may be responsible for a whole site or a part of the site and may also be responsible for part of a project. Manages the day-to-day basics and ensures that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to the right quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all staff perform duties in a safe manner and take steps to protect the environment.
• To manage, train, supervise and motivate staff, ensuring their development.
• To ensure all policies/procedures are adhered to and meet regulatory or client compliance requirements.
• Work with Quality and factory/facility operations to monitor the appearance of the premises, ensure it is kept clean and compliant, tidy, well organized, fully stocked and fully staffed.
• Order approved supplies needed for housekeeping and/or other services provided, in line with fiscal expectations.
• Remedy complaints or difficult situations in an efficient and professional manner.
• Direct completion of assigned tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints
• Enforces work standards and reviews/resolves work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements
• To be able to work efficiently with professionalism at all times and maintain high standards
• Optimizes planning, budgeting, operations, and resources to ensure maximum capability is attained.
• Approve timesheets, Overtime, Vacations and perform annual employee performance appraisals.
• Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
• Ensure that customer requirement and production standards for assigned area of responsibility are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-year college degree is preferred; certification in management a plus.
• CIMS or other janitorial certification is preferred.
• Cleanroom Class 1, 10, 100 or 1000 (ISO Class 6) janitorial experience is a must.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.
