Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a Construction Manager / Quality Control Manager to support Fort Meade, MD facilities operations, overseeing small construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance service orders across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural trades. You will plan, coordinate, execute, and close out work, ensuring compliance with contracts, codes, and quality standards.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in construction management and QC, with ability to read drawings and supervise

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum five (5) years in construction management, quality control, facilities maintenance, repair or related operations.
Experience managing small construction projects and service orders in active facilities.
Experience overseeing multiple trades and performing QC inspections.

Responsibilities

Manage small construction, renovation, and service order projects from planning through closeout.
Oversee facility maintenance-related projects and building system upgrades.
Review requirements, drawings, specs, and scopes of work for accuracy.
Develop scopes of work, BOMs, labor estimates, schedules, and documentation.
Coordinate work activities with PM, Site Lead, Safety Manager, subcontractors, and Government reps.
Conduct pre-work walks, plan meetings, quality inspections, and closeout reviews.
