Quality Control Manager - Facilities Support Services
Location: Fort Meade, MD
Position Summary

LAUKOA is seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager to support facilities operations at Fort Meade, Maryland. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Control Program for facilities maintenance, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, service orders, inspections, and related support activities. The selected candidate will help ensure work is performed in accordance with contract requirements, applicable standards, and established quality procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Control Plan (QCP).
  • Monitor work performance to ensure services are completed in accordance with contract requirements, technical standards, and approved procedures.
  • Conduct quality control inspections of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency work, and service order activities.
  • Identify deficiencies, document findings, and track corrective actions through completion.
  • Prepare and maintain quality control inspection schedules, records, reports, and related documentation.
  • Support weekly quality control reporting, including inspections performed, deficiencies identified, corrective actions taken, and work status.
  • Review completed work orders, service orders, and maintenance documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Lead, Safety Manager, maintenance personnel, subcontractors, and Government representatives on quality-related matters.
  • Verify that work is performed by qualified personnel and in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Support quality control oversight of subcontractor work.
  • Maintain quality control files and make records available for review when required.
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce recurring deficiencies and improve contract performance.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Comply with all environmental, safety, security, and contract requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in facility maintenance, facility repair, operations and maintenance, or a related field.
  • Experience performing or overseeing quality control inspections in a facilities maintenance, construction, or operations environment.
  • Experience supporting commercial, industrial, institutional, secure, or Government facilities preferred.
  • Experience preparing quality control reports, inspection records, corrective action documentation, or related project records.
  • Experience using a CMMS, work order system, or similar tracking system preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of facilities maintenance, quality control procedures, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and service order processes.
  • Ability to inspect completed work and determine whether it meets contract requirements, applicable codes, and workmanship standards.
  • Ability to identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions with maintenance personnel and management.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain quality control documentation, inspection schedules, reports, and records.
  • Basic computer skills sufficient to use email, Microsoft Office, CMMS records, and project documentation systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with Government representatives, management, employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary facilities support team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, inspections, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
Security Requirements
  • Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
  • Must comply with all site access, badge, security, and secure facility requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods while performing quality control oversight duties.
  • Ability to access mechanical rooms, equipment areas, rooftops, exterior facilities, and occupied Government work areas.
  • Ability to climb stairs, bend, kneel, and walk active work sites as needed.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry office materials, inspection equipment, files, or tools consistent with the duties of the position.
Wage Rate
  • $85,000 to $130,000 depending on qualifications
