Job summary

BAC is seeking a Facilities/Construction Project Leader to guide major capital projects at our Jessup, MD site. You will oversee planning, design, construction, commissioning, and startup, coordinating with operations, engineering, manufacturing, EHS, and external partners.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or a related field and 10+ years of progressive facility and infrastructure project experience, with significant travel up to 75% based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience managing facility, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing expansion, or capital project initiatives.
• Experience leading large-scale construction and facility projects from concept through commissioning.
• Experience managing contractors, consulting firms, architects, and engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of facility construction, renovation, expansion, and infrastructure projects from feasibility through commissioning and handoff.
• Manage land and site development activities, including grading, utilities, drainage, paving, and expansion projects.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, capital expenditure requests, risk assessments, and resource plans.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality, and project requirements.
• Lead permitting processes and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
