Job summary

Baltimore Air Coil is seeking a Facilities/Construction Project Leader to steer planning, design, construction, commissioning and startup of facility infrastructure and capital projects across BAC operations. You will guide projects from concept to handoff, aligning with safety, budget, schedules, and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Architecture or related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience managing facility, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing expansion, or capital project initiatives.
• Experience leading large-scale construction and facility projects from concept through commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of construction project management, building systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing contractors, consulting firms, architects, and engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of facility construction, renovation, expansion, and infrastructure projects from feasibility through commissioning and operational handoff.
• Manage land and site development activities, including grading, utilities, drainage, paving, parking lots, employee amenities, and facility expansion projects.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, capital expenditure requests, risk assessments, and resource plans.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality, and project requirements.
• Lead permitting processes and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Direct the design, installation, and improvement of infrastructure systems including electrical distribution, HVAC, natural gas, water, fire protection, and utilities.
• Lead facility layout and space planning initiatives including offices, employee facilities, warehouses, loading docks, and material flow improvements.
• Support CMMS implementation and optimization.
• Ensure commissioning, startup, testing, and turnover of projects.
