Job summary

Primanti Brothers Restaurant & Bar is seeking a senior facilities leader to manage and optimize maintenance across our restaurant portfolio. You will lead capital projects, coordinate with contractors, and ensure building systems and kitchen equipment operate safely and efficiently.

The role requires 5-7+ years in multi-unit facilities management within hospitality, with strong budgeting, project management, and vendor relationships. Travel to locations and remodel sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of multi-unit facilities management experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail.
• Experience managing budgets, contractors, vendors, and capital expenditures.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction, life safety, building systems, and restaurant kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive facilities management strategy across all restaurant locations and support facilities.
• Establish preventive and reactive maintenance programs that keep restaurants open, clean, and fully operational.
• Oversee building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, fire/life safety, and kitchen equipment.
• Establish standards and procedures for restaurant inspections, maintenance, and 24/7 emergency response, including escalation paths for equipment failures.
• Monitor facility conditions across the portfolio and identify opportunities to reduce cost per restaurant and improve reliability.
• Develop long‑term kitchen equipment replacement and capital planning strategies.
• Partner with Restaurant Operations to schedule maintenance around peak dayparts and minimize disruption to guest service.
• Monitor restaurant work orders and approve expenses in CMMS, prioritizing issues affecting food safety, guest experience, or sales.
• Support operations by training General Managers on basic building and kitchen systems, and provide remote troubleshooting to prevent service calls or closures.
