Job summary

Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, ensuring brand standards and excellent guest experiences. The role reports to the General Manager and oversees scheduling, inventory, and vendor management.

The ideal candidate will supervise staff, manage cash and financials, address guest concerns, and uphold health and safety regulations while maintaining a positive, collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Stands/walks 100% of the shift.
• Lifts up to 50lbs, repeatedly.
• Works in damp, hot environments.
• May work with open flame and knives.

Responsibilities

• Assists with administrative duties: ordering, receiving, inventory, scheduling, vendor invoices.
• Sources, interviews, hires candidates, trains staff, delegates, evaluates performance.
• Oversees daily financial responsibilities (cash handling, deposits, comps/voids).
• Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance to meet health and safety regulations.
• Assists with marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Leads by example and mentors team members.
• Performs duties of other roles as needed.
