Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian in Trenton, SC to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and handle hazardous waste tasks with adherence to safety rules.

The role requires 3-6 months training or related experience; forklift certification may be required as part of safety programs. This is a full-time position with a daytime schedule, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work in a team with other employees.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
