Job summary

The Mille Lacs Band Environmental Services Technician 1 performs routine cleaning and light maintenance for assigned facilities. Duties include floor care, waste removal, and setup for events. Hours vary by site and may require travel to multiple facilities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and one year of custodial or maintenance experience. A Special Boiler License must be obtained within one year of hire; valid Minnesota driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance practices and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, buff floors and clean furniture and fixtures.
• Disinfect restrooms, wash walls, windows and lighting fixtures.
• Set up for meetings, funerals, and ceremonies.
• Restock supplies and unclog sinks and drains; change light bulbs.
• Submit cleaning supplies list and manage inventory levels.
• Keep exterior grounds tidy and assist in grounds keeping duties.
• Perform routine minor repairs under supervision.
