The Mille Lacs Band Environmental Services Technician performs routine cleaning, disinfecting, glass cleaning, and floor care for Health and Human Services facilities. Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous janitorial/custodial/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Infection control and disinfection training desirable.
• HIPAA knowledge and confidentiality required.
• Ability to use supplies and chemicals cost-effectively while maintaining safety.
• Must adhere to a cleaning schedule.
• Must maintain safe working conditions and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff and community.
• Experience or sensitivity to Native American culture is desirable.
• Must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug test.

Responsabilidades

• Follow established Health and Human Services Environmental Services policies and procedures.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly tasks as scheduled.
• Provide a clean, safe, sanitary environment across Health and Human Services facilities.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely per manufacturer instructions.
• Empty waste receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Disinfect, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop all areas and fixtures as required.
• Report supplies shortages or repairs to supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
