Job summary

St. Gabriel's Community is seeking a Maintenance Technician I in Minnesota to help keep the facility and surroundings safe, clean, and well-maintained.

You will perform custodial duties, floor care, and basic repairs, with opportunities to assist in grounds maintenance such as snow removal and lawn care. The role involves using various hand and power tools and equipment safely, supporting building maintenance across interior and exterior surfaces, and ensuring compliance with applicable

Qualifications

• Experience in a health care setting is preferred.
• Building and grounds maintenance experience is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License as appropriate and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs general custodial tasks including trash removal, window/wall washing, moving furniture and fill-in housekeeping.
• Performs floor care such as cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning throughout the facility.
• Assists with building maintenance and construction work on interior or exterior surfaces.
• Assists with grounds maintenance including lawn care and snow removal.
• Assists with general repairs to facility and residents’ equipment.
• Operates hand and power tools and maintenance equipment safely.
