Job summary

Osseo Area School District ISD 279 is seeking a facilities custodian with daily operation responsibilities for district buildings. The role includes cleaning, minor repairs, and maintaining grounds and equipment to support a safe learning environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a MN boiler license (special) preferred; strong attention to safety and reliability is essential for year-round operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must obtain MN Specialist boiler license to get Class 2 pay plus the Shift Differential.
• Knowledge of building automation systems and HVAC operation.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of all aspects of the physical operation of the building for which they are responsible.
• Maintain and submit all appropriate reports and logs in a timely manner.
• Perform painting of district facilities including walls, doors and frames.
• Perform minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical and non-potable water system plumbing repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service to facility users and respond to questions.
