Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life safety. You will support preventive maintenance programs and ensure operations meet client specifications and safety standards.

The role requires technical know-how, strong problem-solving and proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a willingness to work within CBRE policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent plus 4–5 years of related work experience.
• Ability to perform stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lift 50 lbs+.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing, structural, and life-safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and safety directives.
• Manage energy use; keep systems efficient.
• Assist preventive maintenance and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Review building system inspections to ensure operation within design specs.
