Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to maintain and repair building systems—mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and HVAC—at a large facility. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and energy performance.

You will support preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections, with opportunities to mentor colleagues and contribute to CBRE’s safety culture. The position requires 4–5 years of related experience and appropriate certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 4–5 years of related experience.
• EPA Universal/CFC certification preferred; local/state licenses may be required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical and other building systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and energy efficiency standards.
• Support preventive maintenance and handle emergency repairs.
• Review building systems and alarms to ensure proper operation.
• Apply advanced knowledge and mentor others as needed.
