Position: Facilities Building Maintenance Assistant at our Orlando facility. Working hours are either Sunday - Thursday from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

What You Will Do:

Assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, or arranging repairs for all building operating systems on-site. May work on one or multiple buildings. Reliable transportation and availability for after-hours emergency calls are required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers with inspections, ensuring timely completion of regulatory and mandatory checks (perimeter, docks, safety stations, fire extinguishers, fences, AEDs, racking, first aid kits, waste, stormwater, and support structures).
• Perform preventative and general maintenance, including minor repairs to building and mechanical systems.
• Replace bulbs, tubes, ceiling tiles, and perform restroom plumbing repairs.
• Assist with special projects and respond to customer requests via personal contact and work order systems.
• Maintain logs and records, familiar with preventative maintenance software.
• Ensure safety and operational continuity of the site, adhering to operating procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1-year experience in facilities maintenance, janitorial, or engineering roles
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Basic computer and email skills
• Willingness to complete safety training specific to the role
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability in demanding environments
