Join to apply for the Maintenance Assistant (Full-Time) - Hotel role at Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Maintenance Team at Home2 Suites by Hilton - Orlando Near UCF, located at 3414 Technological Avenue, Orlando, FL 32817. Our hotel is a 124-suite property situated off University Boulevard, close to dining options and within five minutes of The University of Central Florida, Addition Financial Arena, FBC Mortgage Stadium, and Blanchard Park. Guests enjoy in-suite kitchens, an outdoor saline pool, a fitness center with a Peloton Bike, and complimentary daily breakfast. Buffalo Lodging Associates manages this property, among others.

Job Details: Reports to the Chief Engineer | Rate of Pay: $17.75 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs, painting, wall covering, plumbing, electrical work, pool operations, preventative maintenance, and groundskeeping indoors and outdoors.
• Assist in maintaining fixtures and equipment according to the preventative maintenance schedule, recording all maintenance activities.
• Service and maintain pool and spa areas, including testing and recording water quality per regulations.
• Clean internal building areas, including sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, and maintaining cleanliness of public, storage, and parking areas.

Work Schedule and Requirements

Typical shifts are mostly evenings (3 pm to 11 pm). Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, and to cover morning shifts when needed, is required.

Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in building maintenance and repair; hotel experience is a plus. Skills in electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance are required. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing, and twisting. A valid driver’s license is required.
