About the Company:
Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) provides warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake, and Seminole Counties.
CFC operates three 64-bed Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DDs): Howell Branch Court, Lake View Court, and Washington Square. As part of our staff, you will be involved in providing vital around-the-clock care, including nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.

Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to perform routine maintenance and repairs of the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and painting.
Follow maintenance schedules and instructions, including on-call duties as required.
Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and driveways.
Conduct preventative maintenance on systems such as air conditioning, lighting fixtures, electrical appliances, vehicles, and mechanical systems.
Adhere to all safety policies, work safely, and avoid injuries. Identify hazards or unsafe behaviors and take immediate action to mitigate or report them. Ensure safety for yourself, residents, co-workers, families, guardians, and visitors at all times.
Required Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must possess a Valid Florida Driver License
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one (1) year of maintenance and general repair experience is preferred.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$21.50 per hour
