Job summary

Horizon House is seeking an experienced Building Engineer to join our Facilities team in Seattle, WA. This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing building systems across our campus, ensuring a safe and functional environment for residents and staff.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in building maintenance and a strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. We offer a highly competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in building maintenance, construction, or renovations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain building systems efficiently.
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on various building systems.
• Respond to life safety system alarms and resident service requests.
• Read and interpret plans/blueprints for maintenance tasks.
