Job summary

Urban Renaissance Group in Seattle is seeking a qualified maintenance engineer to supervise mechanical, electrical, and building systems at Columbia Center. You will oversee plumbing work, energy-efficient operations, and safety programs while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

The role requires experience with BAS/EMS systems, data logging in Building Engines, and a proactive leadership mindset to support tenants and facility standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with facility management and building systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and work areas.
• Plumbing installation, adjustment, and repair of restroom fixtures and piping.
• Coordinate building inventories with vendors and manage purchase orders.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment and building structure.
• Perform safety training and oversee LOTO procedures.
• Submit regular reports and supervise contractors and inspectors.
• Promote energy conservation and ensure BAS/DDC systems run on schedule.
• Assist in building audits and inspections.
• Record data in Building Engines and keep equipment records up to date.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure high customer service standards.
• Comply with all codes and safety programs.
