FacilityAssistant - Part time
Provides hands-on facilities and office support to ensurethe building, office environment, and company properties are well maintained,organized, and operating efficiently. Demonstrates strong initiative,flexibility, and problem-solving skills while supporting daily facilityoperations, basic maintenance needs, office projects, and generaladministrative support.
MAINAREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Building Maintenance
- Perform daily building walkthroughs to ensure theproperty is clean, safe, and well maintained.
- Assist with daily facility operations, includingkitchenettes, common areas, conference rooms, and office spaces.
- Monitor building conditions and report maintenanceconcerns or issues requiring attention.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs whenpossible and coordinate escalation when needed.
- Assist with furniture moves, office setups, andrearranging spaces as needed.
- Support vendor visits and assist with building servicerequirements.
- Inspect outside areas of the building and ensure overallproperty appearance is maintained.
- Check and monitor basic building systems, including HVACareas, mechanical rooms, lighting, and other facility equipment.
- Assist with routine facility inspections and scheduledmaintenance tasks.
- Visit additional company properties as needed to ensurefacilities are maintained properly.
- Complete other building and property maintenance tasks asrequired.
IT & Equipment Support
- Assist with setup and movement of office equipment,computers, and other workplace technology.
Office Support & Special Projects
- Assist with office organization, decluttering, andrecords management projects.
- Support scanning, filing, document organization, anddocument retention initiatives.
- Assist with company events, office setups, and specialprojects as needed.
- Run occasional errands, pickups, deliveries, and otheroffice support tasks.
- Maintain building supplies and ensure common areas areproperly stocked.
- Provide flexible support to various departments based onbusiness needs.
OTHERRESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate as needed in special department projects.
- Provide support during office changes, moves, andfacility improvements.
- Assist with seasonal projects, including officedecorations and company initiatives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of facilities, maintenance, officeservices, or related support experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability totroubleshoot and resolve basic issues.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service orientation and willingness toassist employees and vendors.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systemsand technology.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry office equipment,furniture, and supplies as needed (up to approximately 50 lbs.).
- Flexible, dependable, and comfortable performing a widevariety of tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
