Job summary

ABM Industries in Virginia seeks an Account Manager responsible for day-to-day operations and administrative activities to ensure contract conformance. You will develop cost-control measures, set service standards, and oversee inspections, quality control, and inventory of equipment for the assigned building.

The role requires coordinating with Project Manager and client relations to meet contract provisions, respond to inquiries, and promote additional services.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of supervisor experience.
• 5-10 years of customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of janitorial equipment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA required processes.
• Intermediate level of Microsoft programs.
• Valid State Driver's License for business travel.
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
• Excellent relational skills and experience dealing with union environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop work plans with Project Manager to meet contract provisions.
• Inform customer of additional services available at ABM.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve pending complaints/feedback.
• Maintain regular contact with customer to ensure services meet requirements and promote retention.
• Escalate serious issues to Project Manager.
• Increase billable services and add value with periodic services.
• Provide excellent customer service to retain customers.
• Report accidents and property damage promptly.
