Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Project Manager for our Winchester, KY location. This role oversees day-to-day operations to meet contract requirements, implement cost controls, and manage quality and safety programs across assigned buildings.

A strong focus on cost control and service standards will drive performance and profitability. The position requires supervision experience in a service/custodial context, cost estimating capabilities, OSHA knowledge, and excellent communication for reporting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a service/customer-oriented environment.
• 2+ Years of Janitorial, Custodial, or Facilities Management experience preferred.
• Experience in cost estimating/pricing work.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence and effectively present information.

Responsibilities

• Ensure services are performed as contracted and at the intended profit margins.
• Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.
• Manage the company’s quality control monitoring and safety programs at the assigned buildings.
• Conduct quality of service inspections at assigned buildings.
• Increase revenue by ensuring Supervisors pursue additional or periodic services for customers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all regulations.
• Ensure payroll is accurate and submitted timely; resolve discrepancies.
• Lead Supervisors and Lead personnel assigned to buildings; provide direction and evaluation.
• Direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees; address complaints and terminate staff as needed.
