Job summary

University of Maryland, College Park is seeking a Program Management Specialist in Facilities Management’s Customer Response Center to oversee key control and access-related operations, issuing and tracking keys, access cards, and materials while ensuring security procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in scheduling, dispatching, or customer call center.
• Experience in customer service, dispatch, call center, operations center, public safety communications, facilities operations, phone sales or similar service environment.
• Experience using computerized work management, dispatch, or incident management systems.
• Experience supporting emergency response, service coordination, or building systems monitoring.
• Experience providing customer service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage key control system operations, including issuing, tracking, auditing, and documenting keys and access materials.
• Serve as operational point of contact for campus customers and partner units on access and facilities services.
• Process routine and emergency facilities service requests, dispatch and emergency communications.
• Monitor buildings and alarms and track incidents with care and accuracy.
• Maintain operational records using AssetWorks and related platforms.
