Job summary

Access 2 Interpreters, LLC is seeking a fluent ASL interpreter for face-to-face interpretation in Columbus. You will interpret at medical, social service and other appointments, using your bilingual skills to support deaf or hard of hearing clients.

As a contractor, you choose your own schedule with assignments available 24/7/365. Excellent earning potential accompanies flexibility for those in Central Ohio with ASL proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must reside in Central Ohio area.
• Higher learning degree in ASL interpretation or RID certification.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass Federal Criminal Background Check and a 10-panel drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face ASL interpretation at medical, social service and other appointments.
• Contractor sets own schedule and accepts as many assignments as desired.
• Assignments available 24/7/365 with majority during business hours.

As a face-to-face interpreter, you'll use your language skills to assist others during medical, social service and other types of appointments. Interpreting with Access is a great way to earn money. Using your unique bilingual skills to help those in need who are deaf or hard of hearing is very rewarding.

Requirements

All applicants must:

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.
• Have a higher learning degree in ASL interpretation (Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree or RID certification)
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10-panel drug screening (at no cost to you).
