Job summary

Thomas Young Group in New York City is seeking a Project Manager to lead building envelope and façade restoration projects. You will coordinate clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams, conduct site visits, prepare technical reports, and monitor schedules and budgets to meet client expectations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in building envelope consulting or related fields, a strong report-writing ability, and excellent organization skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in building envelope consulting or related field
• Experience managing restoration, repair, and rehabilitation projects
• Familiarity with NYC DOB requirements and FISP (Local Law 11)
• Strong client facing communication and coordination skills
• Architecture or Engineering background preferred
• Professional licensure (RA or PE) advantageous but not required
• Strong report writing and technical documentation experience
• Excellent organization and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively

Responsibilities

• Managing façade restoration and building envelope projects throughout New York City
• Coordinating clients, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams
• Conducting site visits, investigations, and condition assessments
• Preparing technical reports, specifications, and construction documents
• Supporting construction administration and project delivery activities
• Monitoring project schedules, budgets, and client expectations
• Assisting with regulatory compliance and DOB related requirements
• Supporting projects from initial investigation through construction completion
• Maintaining strong communication with clients and project stakeholders
