Job summary

Thomas Young Group is seeking an experienced Building Envelope Consultant in the United States, based in Massachusetts. You will conduct envelope assessments, field investigations, and support restoration and forensic projects, while preparing detailed reports and recommendations for clients.

You will collaborate with architects and engineers, contribute to project budgeting, and maintain strong client relations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Building Envelope Consulting, Restoration, Architecture, or Engineering.
• Experience with facade, roofing, waterproofing, or enclosure assessments.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• EIT, PE, RA, or working toward licensure preferred.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Comfortable working in the field and directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building envelope assessments and field investigations.
• Support facade, roofing, waterproofing, and restoration projects.
• Prepare technical reports and repair recommendations.
• Carry out site visits and construction observations.
• Assist with forensic investigations and building performance evaluations.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, architects, and engineers.
• Support project delivery, budgeting, and client communication.
