Kelly Services in Addison, IL is seeking a Fabricator to join a premier manufacturing client. Reading blueprints, setting up tools, and fabricating metal parts are core daily tasks. The role requires attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced factory

Typical work hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with a pay rate of $23-$25 per hour, depending on experience. Kelly offers weekly pay and a safety-focused environment that supports skill growth and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Competent in using hand and power tools.
• Strong math and layout measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and metal layout drawings.
• Set up and operate hand and power tools used in sheet metal.
• Use a pressure washer to clean metal parts to QC standards.
• Operate equipment such as shears, brake presses, and roll formers.
• Measure and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Install metal sheets with frameworks and perform precise layout.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $23.00/hour-$25.00/hour depending on experience

Shift: 6am-2:30pm

What’s a typical day as Fabricator? You’ll be:

• Reading and interpreting assembly instructions, blueprints, and metal layout drawings.
• Setting up and operating hand and power tools common to the sheet metal trade.
• Using a pressure washer to clean sheet metal parts to quality control standards.
• Operating various equipment such as shears, brake presses, and roll formers.
• Measuring, marking, and preparing materials for fabrication.
• Installing metal sheets with supportive frameworks and performing precise layout work.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have experience in sheet metal fabrication (preferred).
• Possess welding experience (a plus, but not required).
• Can read blueprints and understand technical drawings.
• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Have strong math and measurement skills.
• Are reliable, detail-oriented, and safety conscious.
