Kloeckner Metals Corporation seeks an experienced Fabrication Fitter/Welder to join our manufacturing team in Indiana. The role focuses on completing welding tasks with safety and efficiency, collaborating with team members, and producing customer fabrication orders on schedule.

You will set up and operate welding equipment, inspect finished work, read blueprints, and contribute to continuous quality and process improvements while adhering to company safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1 year of industrial fabrication welding experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and specifications.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with welding tools and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate welding equipment and perform welds in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Follow safety practices and maintain a safe work environment.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts before welding using ruls, squares, and calipers.
• Inspect workpieces for defects and ensure specifications are met.
• Fabricate products to match production specifications and welding procedures.
