Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation in Lancaster, SC is seeking a Welder to join our production team. You will complete welding tasks, set up and operate shielded metal arc and gas metal arc equipment, and help produce customer fabrication orders on schedule.

This full-time weekend shift runs Friday to Sunday 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. with overtime as needed. Safety and quality are emphasized, and you will read blueprints, inspect parts, and work with various metals while maintaining high productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of industrial fabrication welding experience.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and job specifications.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with welding tools and equipment.
• High School diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding equipment including SMAW and GMAW.
• Maintain safety practices and follow company safety protocols.
• Lay out, position, and secure parts before welding.
• Inspect workpieces and measure to specifications.
• Fabricate products to match production specs; handle various metals.
