Qualifications

• 3–5 years of shop welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Shop Fabrication: Weld, fabricate, and assemble parts according to drawings and procedures.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project requirements.
• Material Preparation: Cut, grind, fit, and prepare materials for welding and fabrication.
• Verify material dimensions and readiness before fabrication begins.
• Layout & Fit-Up: Measure, layout, mark, and fit components accurately.
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols for proper assembly.
• Quality Control: Inspect welds and fabricated components for accuracy and quality.
• Identify and correct defects when necessary.
• Shop Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with inventory organization and restocking of shop materials as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment operating guidelines.
